KKR To Buy Another Clinical Research Co., Plans Merger

Law360, Chicago (July 31, 2013, 2:01 PM EDT) -- New York private equity titan KKR & Co. LP said Wednesday that it has cut a deal to acquire ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services Inc., which the firm plans to merge with another contract research organization it is buying.

KKR did not disclose the price it is paying RPS’s current owner, fellow investment firm Warburg Pincus Inc., in a statement announcing the deal.
