FTC's Brill Voices Support For Broad 'Patent Troll' Probe

Law360, Washington (July 31, 2013, 4:14 PM EDT) -- FTC Commissioner Julie Brill on Wednesday echoed her colleagues' calls for the agency to launch a broad investigation into the business and litigation actions of so-called patent trolls, claiming a study could foster a “balanced discussion” among agencies and businesses about the benefits and consequences of the controversial groups.
