Wis. Appeals Court Revives Tyson Don, Doff Class Action

Law360, New York (August 1, 2013, 5:06 PM EDT) -- A Wisconsin appeals court revived a putative class action against Tyson Prepared Foods Inc. Thursday, reversing a lower court ruling that said meat processing workers didn't have to be paid for time spent putting on and taking off protective equipment and clothing.

The three-judge panel's opinion struck down a decision that said workers did not have to be paid for time they spent donning and doffing because those activities were not integral and indispensable to their principal work activities.
