Cleary Reps Amazon Founder In $250M Washington Post Buy

Law360, Washington (August 5, 2013, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The Washington Post Co. announced Monday it was selling all of its newspaper publishing businesses, including its flagship newspaper, to Inc. founder Jeffrey P. Bezos in a $250 million cash deal.

Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP advised the company on the transaction, the firm said Tuesday. Amazon is not involved in the deal; Bezos is buying the company under a separate entity named Nash Holdings LLC, which is represented by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. ...
