Spain Antitrust Regulator Slaps €35M Fine On Car Rental Cos.

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Spain's antitrust watchdog has fined 17 car rental companies, including Avis Europe Overseas Ltd., and two trade groups more than €35 million ($46.6 million) for conspiring to fix prices and conditions for rentals in much of the country, the agency said Monday.
