Pilot Union Sues American Airlines Over CBA

Law360, New York (February 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The union representing American Airlines Inc. pilots has called for an injunction against the company after it allegedly modified the terms of a collective bargaining agreement without consultation.

In a suit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Allied Pilots Association claims the airline made unilateral changes to the existing CBA, more commonly known as the Green Book, while in talks with the union about a successor labor contract.
