FINRA Accuses Ex-Examiner Of 'Never-Ending Harassment'

Law360, New York (August 7, 2013, 8:39 PM EDT) -- The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority on Tuesday hit a former financial operations examiner with a lawsuit in New York state court alleging she has engaged in "never-ending harassment" of its employees since she was fired for making "unwelcome romantic overtures" to a co-worker.

Ling Chan's misconduct, according to the suit, includes barraging FINRA with job applications, complaining repeatedly to its EthicsPoint forum about human resources personnel, signing up Human Resources Senior Director John Braut for unwanted pornographic magazine subscriptions, and posting offensive comments about him on...
