Welders Drop Medical Monitoring Claims From MDL

Law360 (February 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Denied class certification, 16 welders seeking a medical monitoring program for an allegedly increased risk of developing brain damage have agreed to dismiss themselves from the multidistrict welding fume litigation.

In a motion filed Wednesday with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the welders, referred to in court documents as the Steele plaintiffs, asked to be dismissed from the case.
