Nev. Tribe Forms JV To Build 1.5GW In Renewable Projects

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 2:29 PM EDT) -- The Nevada-based Moapa Band of Paiute Indians said Tuesday that they've entered into a joint venture with a California-based engineering and construction firm and Nevada's largest fuel retailer to develop up to 1.5 gigawatts of renewable energy on tribal lands, starting with a 250-megawatt solar plant.
