McDermott Pushes CMS To Smooth Self-Disclosure Process

Jim McDermott, D-Wash., on Tuesday urged the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to speed up its review of voluntary Medicare self-referral disclosures made by health care providers under an Affordable Care Act provision, saying the agency's tardiness had resulted in significant uncertainty in the industry.
