NJ Appeals Court Frees Zurich From Asbestos Cleanup Claim

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 4:31 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Wednesday sided with Zurich American Insurance Co. in its coverage fight with a school district over an asbestos cleanup, calling the district's arguments "far-fetched."

It refused to overturn a lower court's finding that the pollution and faulty workmanship exclusions nixed coverage for the Woodcliff Lake Board of Education's cost of ridding a middle school of asbestos.
