Texas Gov.'s Funding Veto Threat Draws Special Prosecutor

Law360, Houston (August 15, 2013, 7:16 PM EDT) -- A Texas judge assigned to oversee investigation of a complaint that Gov. Rick Perry violated the law when he threatened to cut funding for an Austin-based anti-corruption unit said Thursday that he intends to appoint a special prosecutor within a matter of days.
