Multiplan Staffer In $2.3M Kickback Scheme Pleads Out

Law360, New York (August 15, 2013, 5:57 PM EDT) -- A former administrator at health care cost-management company Multiplan Inc. pled guilty Thursday to taking kickbacks from technology vendors in order to steer contracts their way as part of an alleged $2.3 million scheme.

Keith Bush, a former database administrator at Multiplan, admitted his participation in a five-year scheme to take kickbacks from vendors who provided technology services to Multiplan.

Bush, 41, entered his plea at a hearing before U.S. District Judge Denise Cote in Manhattan federal court.
