5th Circ. Nixes Medco's Bid For Damages In Pipeline Row

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit has rejected Medco Energi US LLC’s claims that a natural gas transporter misrepresented how long it would take to repair a gas pipeline damaged by Hurricane Ike, finding that the filed rate doctrine barred the claims, according to an opinion published Thursday.
