Verizon, IBM Among Winners For $10B DOI Cloud Contract

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 8:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior has selected 10 companies, including Verizon Inc. and IBM Corp., to share a $10 billion, 10-year contract for cloud and hosting services.

The DOI awarded contracts to Verizon, IBM, AT&T Inc., CGI Group Inc., Lockheed Martin Corp., Unisys Corp., Autonomic Resources, Global Technology Resources Inc., Aquilent Inc. and Smartronix Inc. under its indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Foundation Cloud Hosting Services contract, which could be extended until April 2023.
