9th Circ. Lets Harbinger Investor Expand Peregrine Suit

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- A former Harbinger Corp. director and stockholder who supported a merger between the software company and Peregrine Systems Inc. based on allegedly false statements may add defendants to his complaint, the Ninth Circuit ruled Monday.

David Hildes filed the suit in 2010, accusing Peregrine leadership of making materially false and misleading statements in public documents to artificially inflate the value of its securities and to trick him into supporting the merger.
