Massachusetts Court Disbars Two Lawyers

Law360, New York (February 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A Massachusetts state court has disbarred two attorneys for allegedly interfering with two state civil cases — one stock transfer, one derivative — by telling “salacious” lies about the judge overseeing the cases and tricking a law clerk into disclosing private information.

A six-judge panel of the Supreme Judicial Court for the County of Suffolk unanimously elected Wednesday to accept the Board of Bar Overseers' recommendation that Kevin P. Curry and Gary C. Crossen be removed from the bar.
