MSC Cruises Sues Credit Card Processors Over $2M In Fees

Law360, Miami (August 22, 2013, 7:58 PM EDT) -- The North America sales arm for cruise line MSC Crociere SA on Monday sued JetPay Merchant Services LLC and Merrick Bank Corp., claiming the companies improperly charged MSC nearly $2 million in fees that were not included in a credit-card processing service contract.

MSC Cruises (USA) Inc. filed suit in Florida state court alleging fraud, breach of contract and violations of the unfair and deceptive trade practice laws of Florida and Texas against the two credit card processors.
