Doc Asks For Mercy Over Role In $205M Medicare Fraud

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 7:25 PM EDT) -- A psychiatrist who previously pled guilty to a role in a $205 million Medicare fraud and kickback scheme urged a Florida federal judge Wednesday to grant him a lenient sentence, arguing that his role in the scheme had been minor and that he was contrite over it.
