Nasdaq Trading Resumes After 3-Hour Shutdown

Law360, Los Angeles (August 22, 2013, 3:10 PM EDT) -- The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC, the second-biggest stock exchange in the U.S., resumed trading on Thursday afternoon following a three-hour delay that stemmed from a technical issue and led to confusion on Wall Street.

Nasdaq trading in symbol AAME restarted at 3:02 p.m. EDT All other securities were released at 3:10 p.m. EDT with a 15-minute quote-only period with trading starting at 3:25 p.m. EDT.

As of 3:26 EDT, the Nasdaq Composite was at 3,630.27, a gain of 30.48 points, or .85 percent.
