Stryker Unit Settles OT Miscalculation Collective Action

Law360, New York (August 22, 2013, 7:55 PM EDT) -- A unit of medical device maker Stryker Corp. has resolved a collective action accusing the company of underpaying field service representatives by failing to factor in commissions when calculating their overtime pay, according to a Thursday filing in Indiana federal court.

Stryker and representative plaintiff Johnny L. Crowell Jr. filed a joint approval motion asking the court to give its blessing their settlement in the Fair Labor Standards Act case Crowell lodged in August 2012 and calling the pact a fair and just resolution.
