DOJ Charges Conspiracy To Rig Defense Contracts

Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has charged three people and two contract firms with conspiring to steal information to manipulate bids for Department of Defense fuel contracts.

Christopher Cartwright, Paul Wilkinson, Matthew Bittenbender, Czech Republic-based Far East Russia Aircraft Services Inc. and the Isle of Man-based Aerocontrol LTD stand accused of conspiracy to steal trade secrets, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud the U.S.
