Dow Takes $1B Urethane Antitrust Verdict To 10th Circ.

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- The Dow Chemical Co. on Thursday appealed an amended $1.06 billion judgment entered against it in Kansas federal court to to the Tenth Circuit, arguing the lower court miscalculated the damages in an antitrust class action alleging Dow schemed with BASF Corp., Huntsman International LLC and other rivals to fix the price of urethane.
