Lawyer Bungled FINRA Arbitration Against UBS, Trader Says

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 12:04 PM EDT) -- A Manhattan stock trader sued his former lawyer Thursday, claiming that he was asleep at the wheel during an arbitration with a UBS AG affiliate over short sales on General Motors Corp. and Continental Airlines Inc. stock.

Daniel Farash sued his former lawyer, Louis F. Burke, in New York state court for allegedly dropping the ball during the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority arbitration, in which Farash had alleged that UBS had caused him $6 million in losses and damages for restricting access to his trading account...
