GE Lands Oracle Vet As New Chief Privacy Lawyer

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 7:45 PM EDT) -- General Electric Co. has landed a new chief privacy attorney, luring a prominent figure in the legal community for data collection and information security in Massachusetts away from a similar position at Oracle Corp., a GE spokesman said Monday.

Company spokesman Seth Martin confirmed that Peter Lefkowitz will join GE as chief privacy counsel after a decade and a half at Oracle, where he eventually rose to the position of chief counsel for privacy and security.
