Workers Ask Texas High Court To Restore Severance Pay

Law360, Dallas (September 11, 2013, 8:09 PM EDT) -- A group of workers for a former Tyco International Ltd. manufacturing unit told the Texas Supreme Court on Wednesday they were wrongly denied severance pay when Dresser-Rand Group Inc. bought the unit, arguing a plan governing other workers doesn’t preempt their separate contracts.
