Doctor Must Serve 2 1/2 Years, Pay $8M For Medicare Fraud

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 10:40 PM EDT) -- A psychiatrist who pled guilty to a role in a $205 million Medicare fraud and kickback scheme at a Miami medical company was sentenced to 30 months in prison and ordered to pay $8.1 million in restitution Tuesday in Florida federal court.
