Texas High Court Snubs Pemex Union In $1B Contract Fight

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 2:01 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Tuesday denied a writ of mandamus to the workers’ union for Mexico's national oil company, which is challenging a trial judge’s rulings in a decades-old contract fight with Arriba Ltd. that resulted in a purportedly ill-negotiated $1 billion settlement.
