9th Circ. Keeps Calif. Shark Fin Ban In Place

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 6:04 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday refused to block a California law banning the importation, sale and distribution of shark fins while Chinese-American groups challenged the statute, ruling that the groups were unlikely to succeed on discrimination claims and could not demonstrate irreparable harm.
