Dynegy Bankruptcy Judge OKs $3.5M Plant Sale To Helios

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 2:42 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Thursday greenlighted a Dynegy Inc. unit's $3.5 million sale of a New York power plant to Helios Power Capital LLC, following the approval of the electric company’s Chapter 11 plan.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Cecelia G. Morris signed off on the deal, which will hand over control of the Danskammer Generating Station, located on the shores of the Hudson River in Newburgh, N.Y., and related assets to power asset manager Helios Power Capital.
