Slashed $19M Verdict Against Stonebridge Upheld On Appeal

Law360, Chicago (August 30, 2013, 6:36 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Thursday upheld a decision that wiped out most of a $19 million punitive damages award against Stonebridge Life Insurance Co. for denying coverage to a paraplegic former Marine for an extended hospital stay.
