Texas High Court Allows Tort Claims Against Gov't Entities

Law360, New York (September 3, 2013, 2:10 PM EDT) -- A split Texas Supreme Court on Friday clarified that the Texas Tort Claims Act does not bar plaintiffs suing a government employee from asserting claims against the government when the suit is based on the employee’s conduct within the scope of employment.
