Barclays Nabs Former US Treasury GC for Legal Lead

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 4:05 PM EDT) -- British financial giant Barclays welcomed on Friday former U.S. Treasury Department general counsel Bob Hoyt as legal department chief.

"His breadth of experience, having worked at senior levels in both industry and government, means he is exceptionally well prepared to take on the challenge of leading our legal function and contributing as a member of the executive committee," Barclays Group Chief Executive Antony Jenkins said in a statement.
