Calif. Whistleblower Suits Require Admin Claims, Court Says

Law360, New York (September 3, 2013, 5:18 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled last week that a whistleblower cannot bring suit under a state retaliation provision without first filing an administrative claim, nixing a former government worker's claims and breaking from a previous state appellate ruling on the issue.
