Seaport Co. Global Ports Pays $652M For Russia's NCC Group

Law360, Los Angeles (September 3, 2013, 6:18 PM EDT) -- Global Ports Investments PLC  has entered binding agreements to buy NCC Group Ltd. for $652.1 million in cash and shares, bolstering the Russian seaport company's status as the biggest container terminals operator in Russia, it announced Monday.

Global Ports, along with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, will purchase NCC Group — Russia's second-largest container terminal operator — for $291 million in cash and shares worth roughly $361.1 million, to be paid to sellers Ilibrinio Establishment Ltd. and Polozio Enterprises Ltd. Global Ports will also assume NCC’s debt...
