ITC To Review Nokia Win In InterDigital Patent Suit

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 7:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Wednesday that it will review a judge's decision clearing Nokia Corp., Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and ZTE Corp. of infringing InterDigital Communications Inc.'s standard-essential wireless patents, and will scrutinize whether InterDigital has a domestic industry.

The commission said it will review in its entirety Administrative Law Judge David P. Shaw's June ruling that the wireless device makers did not infringe seven patents asserted by InterDigital and that some of the asserted claims are invalid.
