DOT Doles Out $474M For Infrastructure Upgrades

Law360, New York (September 5, 2013, 4:53 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation said Thursday it will distribute $474 million between more than 50 high-impact projects spanning the country as part of a grant program designed to funnel badly needed resources into large-scale  infrastructure upgrades.

This year's congressional allocation under the highly competitive grant program, dubbed TIGER, is substantially less than previous funding rounds.
