EIB Loans France €350M For Sustainable Renovation Project

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 3:16 PM EDT) -- The European Investment Bank on Monday announced the finalization of a €350 million ($464 million) loan to France’s Central Region to build and renovate educational institutions in an effort to develop energy-efficient infrastructure in the region.

The loan will be used to construct and renovate high schools, colleges and other learning institutions with the goal of using sustainable natural resources and effective waste management to induce energy savings.
