PVF Capital Dodges Investor Class Action Over $106M Merger

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 4:29 PM EDT) -- An Ohio federal judge on Monday tossed a proposed class action challenging PVF Capital Corp.’s $106 million all-stock merger with FNB Corp., finding the complaint, which accused the PVF Capital board of omitting material information in its U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, didn't meet the necessary pleading standards.
