Michigan Governor Will Testify In Detroit Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 4:27 PM EDT) -- Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder on Tuesday agreed to be deposed in Detroit’s bankruptcy proceedings on matters surrounding the city’s insolvency, despite the state’s previous efforts to avoid such questioning from unions and pension systems.

Attorneys for the state dropped their efforts to keep union and pension fund questions at bay during a hearing before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven W.
