American, US Air Say DOJ Merger Suit Ignores Reality

Law360, New York (September 11, 2013, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt American Airlines parent AMR Corp. and US Airways Group Inc. on Tuesday accused the U.S. Department of Justice of ignoring the reality of the difficulties facing the airline industry in its bid to block the carriers' proposed $11 billion merger.
