High Court Asked To Mull FCRA, Federal Preemption

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 8:50 PM EDT) -- A man accusing TD Bank NA of defamation for allegedly providing false information to credit rating agencies has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to take up his defeat in New Jersey court and rule that the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act doesn't preempt such state claims.
