5th Circ. Nixes La. DEQ's Appeal In Iron Plant Permit Row

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 7:20 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Friday rejected the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality's appeal of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s objection to three air emissions permits the LDEQ had issued to Nucor Steel Louisiana, saying it lacked jurisdiction because the EPA’s decision isn’t yet final.
