Fla. Congresswoman To Push For Jacksonville Port Deepening

Law360, Miami (September 16, 2013, 9:38 PM EDT) -- U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., said she plans to introduce an amendment Thursday to the recently announced Water Resources and Reform Development Act, seeking to add a deepening project for Jacksonville's port.

The bill is a key piece of legislation through which Congress authorizes work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the nation's ports and waterways.
