Calif. Gov. Partners With China To Curb Climate Change

Law360, San Diego (September 16, 2013, 7:00 PM EDT) -- California Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday said he entered into the first agreement between a U.S. state and China's top climate official that aims to boost cooperation on cutting carbon emissions and researching energy-efficient technologies.

Brown signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with Xie Zhenhua, vice chair of economic development agency the National Development and Reform Commission, to work together to fight against climate change.
