Ex-Rutgers Employee Says She Was Fired For Being Gay

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 8:28 PM EDT) -- A dean at Rutgers University wrongly fired a public relations employee after being hostile to her because she’s a lesbian, the former employee claims in a suit recently moved to Middlesex County Superior Court. 

Laura Federico worked as a senior public relations specialist at Douglass Residential College, a historically women-only college that is part of the Rutgers network.
