Orrick Closes Vinci's $4B Deal For Portugal Airport Operator

Law360, New York (September 18, 2013, 11:10 AM EDT) -- French infrastructure giant Vinci SA said Wednesday it has closed the €3.08 billion ($4.1 billion) acquisition of airport operator ANA Aeroportos de Portugal SA, which holds 50-year contracts to operate Portugal's 10 airports.

The deal, which received European antitrust approvals in June, is the final piece of Portugal's plan to privatize its airports, an effort meant to help the country meet the terms of its European Union bailout.
