US Steel Cos., Workers Call For Anti-Dumping Probe

Law360, New York (September 18, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- Domestic steel manufacturers AK Steel Corp., Allegheny Ludlum LLC and their workers urged the U.S. government on Wednesday to investigate alleged dumping of grain-oriented electrical steel by seven countries in Asia and Europe.

AK Steel and Allegheny, as well as labor union United Steelworkers, filed petitions asking the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce to initiate anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations into the steel product, referred to as GOES.
