House Small-Business Panel OKs GOP Regulatory Reform Bill

Law360, Washington (September 18, 2013, 6:28 PM EDT) -- A U.S. House of Representatives committee on Wednesday advanced a piece of Republican-backed legislation that would revamp federal agency regulatory processes to give added consideration to small-business concerns.

The House Committee on Small Business sent the Regulatory Flexibility Improvements Act of 2013 to the House floor via a voice vote, and committee chair Rep. Sam Graves, R-Mo., said he hoped the law would help "improve the regulatory climate for American small businesses."
