Honeywell Sued Over Motion-Detecting Device

Law360 (December 12, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A small Texas lens manufacturer has filed a lawsuit against technology giant Honeywell International Inc. and other competitors for allegedly infringing patents for motion sensor technology.

The company, Fresnel Technologies Inc., sued the defendants in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Fort Worth.

In addition to Texas-based Honeywell, Fresnel Technologies is suing Israel-based Electronics Line 3000 Ltd. and California-based Hampton Products Int’l Corp., both manufacturers of security products.
